Yeah, skatefest this year was'nt that great, mainly because

1. There were no casterboarders there besides us & a few others

2. Another team was supposed to come, came a little late, so we couldn't film much, well but it's all cool! :)

We do have some footage, but was deleted due to some camera issues, so only 1 clip was salvaged... So no footy... but the event wasn't all that great anyways, so it's cool

So maybe next time, & we are probably going to do a collab video with RipStikSIN

Firstly, Happy New Year! I know it's a little late to be saying this, but what the heck, so we have'nt been updating for a really long time, alot of things have happened, firstly was the skatefest got postponed! :( Yup, we were sad when we heard the news as well, really really sad... Suppose to meet SwaveClaws & everything but could not...

And as for Video #7, well alot has happened, Alvin & Mike are now skating, Christopher not fully recovered from his accident, Joshua & Jonathan have not been practicing, we have not been meeting up & practicing new tricks & stuff yet, but Alvin says he will try to get the video done ASAP, so much for reaching Video #15 by the end of 2009...

Well that's pretty much so far, just be patient for awhile, Video #7 will be up before the end of 2010... I know long way, we probably may not even do it, casterboarding is no longer an interest here, it's really hard to explain everything... just slowly wait... sorry guys... :(

OMG, so sorry for the lack of updates for a few weeks, we have been really neglecting TeamParkEast, many things have happened, TeamParkEast may have to be disbanded, it's a in the thought thing, anyways we will be heading to skatefest tonight, can't wait! Sorry for not updating, so anyways nothing happened really, most of our exams are finished, so video #7 should be on it's way, but Christopher got hit by a car, and is in a cast for 2 months, so he may or may not be featured, but Joshua, Jonathan, Mike and Alvin should most probably be in video #7, so just wait for it, it should be out maybe at the end of the month, heading to a skatepark (to film) in about 2 weeks time (we have always been going to skateparks, just that we go seperately, like with our friends and stuff, and really never bring our own cameras, so this time we will go together to flim :D) so video #7 should be on its way, wait for it! :D

OK guys, if you notice, streetwave only sells RipStik Classic and RipStik DLX, but that day Alvin was at a skateshop and next to the shop, was a bike shop and they sell RipStik 'G' and the limited edition RipStik Classic, which is with the designs on it, so it is pretty cool, as they have RipStik Gs! Ok just wanted to let everyone know that video #6 will be up pretty soon, and most probably for most of the videos after video #7, we will be doing it skateparks or any new locations, but only maybe IF we ever reach video #15 and more, which should be around the December holidays, those are the videos that will be more in skateparks or other locations, cause December holidays is the time we are free (DUH!) so if we ever reach that far we will do it in new locations, Park East is getting kinda boring... :) But some videos will still be at Park East, it all depends on our time, so yeah! And not to worry, we will also be uploading other videos like tutorials and any other video, as long as it's related to TeamParkEast, but those videos will most probably be after video #10, so yeah, we have tons of tutorials to teach you guys! So hi guys! I see quite a number have taken a liking to the new Timber Wolf Xtreem Casterboard, it is a really awesome board, but for those non-skaters but casterboarders, do take into consideration that the Timber Wolf Xtreem Casterboard is built with a skateboard deck, so here are some things to take note:

If you do not skate, try riding a curb with that, it will feel alot different as it is a skateboard, where the normal casterboards are not, so it may feel different and you may not be used to it

So but for those who want to try it out even if you are'nt a skater, by all means go ahead! It's a cool new board, different from the normal casterboard, so go check it out, and we have found a video for these new boards, links at the end of the post!

Ok, hi everyone! So we have been browsing through the internet and guess what we found? It was on Caster Addicts and we watched the new featured video with this new board in it, we went to the website provided in the description and found a whole new kind of casterboard, for skaters and casterboarders out there, this could be it...
It's called the "Timber Wolf Xtreem Casterboard" and "Xtreem" is not misspelled, it's spelled that way, so anyway in the bottom post you can see how it looks like, here are some specs:

Patent Pending Rock & Roll Caster DesignMost Caster Boards have a front and a back and a caster axis mounted at an acute angle in respect to them. This means you can only propel the board in one direction

Not so with the XtreeM, it has no front and no back and the caster axis is FREE to ROCK so you are FREE to Roll in either direction.

This means that you can do reverts, shuvits, fakies etc... without having to fight the inclination of the casters and then you can speed off in the new orientation.

This whole new design is called "The Rock and Roll"

There is a video but only on the site, apparently what it means that normal casterboards can only go 1 side as the front has this thing that is mounted at an 45 degree angle, where this board can go in both directions and works exactly liek a casterboard, so we figured it was pretty cool, you can buy it, links will be given at the end of the post, so go check out this awesome new board, we will update as soon as we get the latest info

Hey everyone! Just wanted to tell everybody that the new Elite swaveboards are out, and there a load of new designs, but they cost like $149! And the main difference is that the wheels are now Abec 7, and they increased the price by like $50, so kind of not worth it, if you buy a waveboard or ripstik online, it costs even cheaper then that, so maybe buying a new swaveboard now is kind of a bad idea...

And the Waveboard LX only costs about S$116 so once those new "carbon fibre" Swaveboards come out, which cost S$149, it's time to get Ripstiks or Waveboards, Ripstik AIR and Waveboard LX are 2 boards you can consider, swaveboards are way too costly already, but if you want to buy a Ripstik Classic, NEVER EVER buy it in Singapore, they cost S$240, where if you buy it online it is about S$119, SO DO NOT BE STUPID AS TOO BUY IT IN SINGAPORE, so go check out these new boards to consider when swaveboards become too overpriced

Ok update, Alvin just got his board, and guess what? The manager says that the cleaner took it, but this morning, they said that, a cleaner found it, contradicting much? So now, they are 2 possibilities,
1. The cleaner really took it, and then did not want it, hid it somewhere, told the guard manager, that he/she found it
2. Manager pushing the blame to the cleaner

So, now we still do not know the culprit, just to all fellow TeamParkEast team members and all other residents of Park East, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS UNATTENDED and always take your stuff wherever you go.

Ok, even though it was just a day, alot of things happened, ok, so in about late afternoon, we were making video #3, Alvin left his swaveboard somewhere and we went somewhere, which was pretty near, and made the video #3, but later about 3 - 4pm, the swaveboard went missing, I'm guna skip the details, about the search who we suspected, but this morning, the guard manager went to his house, and told his father that, yesterday at 6.30pm, a cleaner found his board at lobby 2, he only said LOBBY 2, no details, and then after that it was given to the manager, and he can claim it at 8.45am, however, at 6.30pm we were all still down and we saw no cleaners around, unless is carpark, but however at 4pm when we searching, we asked the manager, he was like saying "no, no I never see anything", when Mike tried to go in, the manager told him, "Hey! Don't come in" So we begin suspecting him, and so actually the guard manager made up a story saying they found the swaveboard, when actually it was with the manager all along, unless they hid it like how they hid Colin's bike before, but higher chance it was with the manager all along...

Waveboard LX Black (It's the same as the other post)

Hi there again people!!! Alot has happened the past week, well first things first... Ok so on friday, guess what, WE FINALLY GOT OUR SHIRTS!!! And they are pretty cool, very comfortable too :D, and the next big thing, is that Benjamin invited us to some SkateFest, held by SkateSports at the Tampines Millenium Rink! Super fun, TeamParkEast was like pwning in every event, at least every event, we were in Top 3!!! And the best of all is that Jonathan won the grand prize... A WAVEBOARD!!! SUPER COOL!!! It's white in colour and its really awesome!!! And we also got to meet some streetsurfing pro, and we got to talk to him, and he was really cool, he did all the cool tricks, for everyone, and the Skaters were pretty cool too, but the Street Surfer was really cool! His name is "Jason Johnston", go google search him, and click the first one, it said that he is from some GROM Team, and he was going to SkateFest, and the next day, conducting some workshop at Big Splash, so anyways thats about it, so now we are finally ready to start video #3, we are filming on Monday at 10am, just for anybody who does not know, so yeah thats that, I will try to upload pics and vids of our shirts and the SkateFest Event, in the next post, cya!

Ok, so I have been to the shop where we will be making our Team Shirts, so I found out that besides dry-fit material, they also have normal cotton material, so which would you guys prefer? It does look kinda boring, the tricks are pretty simple, well its not easy to think of a new trick every week, so pls deal with it for awhile, we are really trying hard, that's about it, and btw we are going to make T-Shirts for our team, templates have already been made, but we are still deciding to have it in grey or black, Singapore has recently been very hot, so wearing black would be really tiring if we were to ride under the sun or in skateparks, so we are thinking grey, but u can post yr opinions on the tagboard, pls vote for the colour of yr choice! Ok just to let everyone know, we will be putting a tagboard and a new skin pretty soon, so just stay calm ok? So video #2 will have to get started pretty soon, but we are thinking of making a tutorial video first to show people how to ride the swaveboard, so we are still thinking but most probably we will make the tutorial video first, that's about it for today pretty boring post :)
